Island Adventures is a locally owned rental shop located at 24 Waites Wharf in downtown Newport, Rhode Island. Founded by Newport locals Nick and Steve, we rent premium e-bikes, traditional bikes, open-air luxury LSVs, single and tandem kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and beach gear — by the hour, day, and week.
Our downtown shop is a quarter-mile from the start of Ocean Drive and a quarter-mile from King's Beach, putting Newport's best rides, paddles, and beaches within walking distance of pickup. We're open seven days a week from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM all summer. Free delivery is available to Newport hotels, vacation rentals, and beaches.
